China National Intellectual Property Administration signed cooperation agreements with several national and

From September 11 to 13, during the third "Belt and Road" Intellectual Property High-Level Conference Series, Shen Changyu, Director of China's National Intellectual Property Administration, held talks with Hassaneh Khaddam, Syrian Ambassador to China, Mohamed Zeki Durak, Director of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Maria Sanchez Torres, Director of the Cuban Industrial Property Office, Okpachi, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, and Paksari, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Industry, Science and Innovation, Urdu Yemoso Baraki, Director of the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office, Tabaz Bermanya, Director General of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization, Soso Giorgadze, Chairman of the Georgian National Intellectual Property Center, Vladimir Maric, Director of the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia, Panagiotis Kanelopoulos, Director of the Greek Industrial Property Organization, and Rory Waller, Director of the South African Company and Intellectual Property Office, and signed bilateral cooperation documents respectively.

 

Shen Changyu expressed his gratitude to all parties for their active support and participation in the Belt and Road intellectual property cooperation. He pointed out that China's cooperation with all parties has been long-lasting and fruitful. He hopes to further deepen cooperation with all parties through the signing of new cooperation documents and promote bilateral cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road to a new level.

 

All parties highly praised China's important contribution to deepening the Belt and Road intellectual property cooperation. It is hoped that this meeting will be used as an opportunity to further expand the content of cooperation and effectively promote more fruitful results in cooperation.

 

During the meeting, Shen Changyu also met with Chen Huijing, Director of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, Abdulrahman Muaini, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Hisham Mahmoud Azmi Attiya, Chairman of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Office, and others, and exchanged in-depth views on issues of common concern. All parties at the meeting expressed that they will jointly promote the economic and social development of various countries through intellectual property cooperation.
