On September 14, the China-Eurasia Intellectual Property Exchange Conference was held in Beijing. Shen Changyu, Director of the State Intellectual Property Office of China, delivered a written speech, and Lu Pengqi, Deputy Director, attended the opening ceremony and read Shen Changyu's speech. Grigory Ivliev, Director of the Eurasian Patent Office, presided over the opening ceremony.
In his speech, Shen Changyu said that the Eurasian Patent Office and the intellectual property authorities of each member state are important partners of the State Intellectual Property Office of China. The two sides have carried out extensive and in-depth practical cooperation in the field of intellectual property, and have maintained close exchanges in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road". China is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with Eurasian partners, share development opportunities, promote mutual benefit and win-win results, achieve common development, and better benefit the innovation entities and intellectual property users of both sides.
Grigory Ivliev introduced the latest situation of the Eurasian intellectual property system. He looks forward to continuing to strengthen intellectual property dialogue and exchanges with China in the future, deepening multilateral and bilateral cooperation, and promoting economic and trade exchanges and scientific and technological innovation between the two sides.
Representatives from relevant intellectual property authorities and industry from China and Eurasian countries attended the meeting.
